Assemblies

We believe assemblies should be seen as a time of sharing, togetherness and achieving a sense of belonging.

Whole school assemblies take place on three days, usually in the mornings. These are seen as an opportunity to develop two areas of school life in which opportunities arise to develop pupils spiritually and morally. These are:

One assembly takes place in individual classroom areas and at a time and place which is convenient for that class.

Parents are very welcome to join us for family assemblies which take place once a term and will be given prior notice of times and dates.

We also have ‘special’ Monday afternoon assemblies, where individual children from the Key Stage 1 classes are invited to share their successes and achievements with the whole school. The Reception children have theirs in class. The Key Stage 2 children share their successes at the Friday Celebration Assembly. Parents also join us during this time by prior invitation.
